In an asking mood. Have you always lived in Texas?
Are you ready for a long story?
I have not always lived in Texas. I was born in Princeton, New Jersey and grew up in a small town nearby called Allentown. My family and I moved to south Texas after my freshman year in high school - we followed Dad and his work. I stayed in Texas for about 10 years, graduated from Texas A&M University, and moved *back* to New Jersey a couple years later. (My parents had decided to head north again.) I stayed up there for a few years, but felt I was missing out on many life changes my friends were going through, so decided to return to Texas - which happened a just a few months ago, actually. And that’s it!
Hi Nora, (I am assuming that Nora is your name - am I right?) I’m Pam. Nice to meet you! :)
It’s taken me entirely too long to answer your question, but I’ll do it anyhow.
My earliest memory is waking up on Christmas morning in my “big girl bed” from Santa. I do have some other early, fond memories of going down the shore with my grandmother to visit my great aunt Mabel and uncle Eddie at their beach house in Seaside Heights, NJ.
All right world, I need your help!! I’ve just launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for my new album. Check out the link below to find out how you can help and the AWESOME stuff you can get in return!! (clue - one of my guitars, a Skype chat with me, the dress I wear in the Dress and Tie video, the cardigan Darren and I both wear in the Dress and Tie video)…
I love you all and can’t make this record without you. If you like me or my music, please REBLOG REBLOG REBLOG and help spread the word like you’ve never spread it before!!
One hundred thousand thanks!!!!!!
There aren’t words to describe how much I LOVE this woman’s music. (Well, there probably are, but I am not eloquent enough to do her justice. You know who is, though? Charlene Kaye!) And, can I just say, look at that rainbow awesomeness that is her outfit! <3
I would be a sad bear if Charlene’s music was silenced due to lack of funding. Spread the beauty she has to offer this world by either donating some green, or reblogging to raise awareness. Many, many, many thanks! :D
